Hadley's Earth Crystals to hold grand opening

MILFORD — From grand amethyst geodes to delicate chrysocolla and malacite, the colors, textures, and shapes formed in the earth millions of years ago will amaze all visitors to Milford's newest shop.
This weekend, Hadley's Earth Crystals will celebrate the grand opening of its new retail location at the ARTery Gallery in Milford.
James and Janice Hadley like to call their collection of crystals and gem formations from around the world "earth art." After building their business at festivals, they partnered with the gallery for their first full-time retail shop.
Demand for their geologic treasures has been increasing. The Hadleys say they love to educate visitors and show off their collection, which includes everything from small, affordable specimens to large, sculpture-like pieces.
The grand opening will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14. Meet the Hadleys, enjoy some refreshments, and receive a 10 percent discount on purchases over $35.
