Happiness is a middle school play about Snoopy

MILFORD — The Delaware Valley Middle School Drama Club will present “Snoopy: The Musical" in November.
Based on the comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Schulz, "Snoopy" is the sequel to "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." It focuses on the life of the world’s most famous beagle. Atop his kennel, Snoopy surveys the skies, modestly reflects on his genius, and stoically accepts that his brilliance will forever go unremarked by humankind.
The show contains more than 15 tunes performed by Charlie Brown, Lucy, Sally, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Woodstock, and, of course, one loveable beagle.
The drama club will have refreshments available for purchase in the school cafeteria, as well as several baskets to be raffled off. The baskets will include gift certificates to area restaurants and services.
Showtimes are as follows:
Friday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m.
The production will be held at the Delaware Valley High School Auditorium, located on Routes 6 and 209 in Milford. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. All tickets are general admission.
The public can call 570-296-1835 to purchase tickets or purchase online at dvmsdrama.ticketleap.com. Tickets will also be available at the door.
All proceeds from ticket and concession sales and the basket raffle will benefit drama club students and future productions.
