Learning about wolf packs

| 09 Apr 2015 | 12:52

Rachel Goldstein, DDMS Librarian and Gifted Teacher, chaperoned gifted students and their families on a field trip to the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, N.J.

The students who attended were able to get within 10 feet of four different wolf packs (almost 20 wolves), two foxes, and two bobcats.

The guides gave a talk about the animals and their lives in the wild and in captivity. The students were also able to experience a group howl with the wolf packs.
