Meet your future business leaders

MILFORD — Delaware Valley High School hosted the Region 22 Workshop for the Future Business Leaders of America, when 10 schools came to Milford to attend four different workshops and hear updates about the organization’s projects and aims.
After addresses by the High School Principal Brian Blaum, DV President Drake Eschelman and other officers, the participants were divided into four groups, each to attend one of the workshops:

Dressing for Business Success
Writing the effective Resume
FBLA Bingo, a popular session put on by DV students
In the evening, the participants attended dinner and closing session.
Club advisors Maura Angle and Audrey Josephite explained in an email that FLBA is “the largest business student organization in the world preparing students for careers in business and business-related areas. Over 250,000 students and advisers participate annually in over 14,000 chartered chapters in 50 states. Pennsylvania membership is over 13,000, with 295 active chapters in 28 regions. PA FBLA is the 5th largest chapter in the association.
