Milford bees make honey, and money, for GAIT

MILFORD — GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center sells honey made by bees right here in Milford to support its programs.
All proceeds from the sale of the honey goes to GAIT, which offers equine-related activities to improve the quality of life for people with special needs.
Maureen Caska, owner of TLC Salon and Spa in Milford, says she's had problems with allergies for years. But after she started to drink tea everyday with GAIT honey, she found much relief. Honey has been used as a sweetener for thousands of years. It also serves a cough suppressant and may help relieve allergies.
