Milford resident graduates from Vassar College

MILFORD — President Catharine Hill presided over the 151 Vassar College commencement ceremonies held on Sunday, May 31. Bachelor of Arts degrees were conferred to 610 graduating seniors, including Sarah Thomas Mincer from Milford.

Mincer majored in Biology and Anthropology and was part of Sigma Xi.

Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief, from The Huffington Post delivered the commencement address.

Vassar College, founded in 1861, is a highly selective, coeducational, residential, liberal arts college located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
