MILFORD — Kathy Bucknam of Milford was found flat in the crosswalk at the intersection of Broad and Harford by Sal Pinzone, assistant chief of the borough police.
She had just been hit by a car, said Pinzone, who responded to the site after getting a call at 10 a.m. on Dec. 15.
A witness told The Courier that Buckham was yelling and crying in pain. He said he told his children not to look as they drove through the area.
Pinzone said she was hit by a 2016 Honda CRV driven by a man from Sandyston, N.J.
Bucknam was transported to Orange County Regional Hospital in Middletown, N.Y., by Atlantic Ambulance.
