Members of the Delaware Valley High School band, accompanied by director Lance Rauh, traveled to the campus of Wallenpaupack Area High School to participate in the annual Pike-Wayne County Band Festival, where they joined 100 other student-musicians from the area for a daylong festival. Under the direction of James Martini from York, Pa., students from six area schools prepared a program of educational high school band literature. Musicians from East Stroudsburg North, East Stroudsburg South, Honesdale, Wallenpaupack, and Western Wayne High Schools joined DV for an entire day of intense rehearsals that culminated in a concert displaying their vast talents. The students prepared the literature and enjoyed an educational day of creating music while interacting with other talented high school musicians. (Photo provided)
