Niki Jones, CEO of the Niki Jones Agency, has been accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
The program provides entrepreneurs with access to education, capital and business support services in anticipation that they will create jobs in their communities.
Criteria for inclusion include that the business owner or small business co-owner must have been in operation for at least two years, have business revenues over $150,000 in the most recent fiscal year, and have at least four employees, including the owner.
“Being an entrepreneur can be challenging. To be as successful as possible, you need to understand what engages your clients; when, where, and how your message will efficiently reach them, and how to show them that your services will provide the best results. The acceptance into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is an enjoyable and rewarding experience, and give me the additional tools I need to grow my business and provide local jobs,” stated Jones.
Along with greater access to business education, financial capital, and business support services, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program provides an invaluable alumni network; 85 percent of participants report doing business with one another. Data shows business and personal relationships built through the program are enduring and contribute to business growth.
