— The Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River is looking for a local Boy Scout troop to help do maintenance work on the Tusten Mountain Trail as part of celebrating National Public Lands Day on Sept. 26.

The trail is maintained through a partnership between the National Park Service and the Greater New York Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Throughout the summer many visitors use the Tusten Mountain Trail, and every season work must be done to keep the trail clear of debris, downed timber, and overgrown branches.

Scout masters interested in having their scouts participate should call Anya Shaunessy at 570-685-4871 ext. 6610.
