Pike library reopens on limited basis

Milford. Both branches of the Pike County Public Library have opened on a limited basis starting on June 23.

Both branches of the Pike County Public Library opened on a limited basis as of Tuesday, June 23.

Here are a few things to know before you stop by:

At this time only Pike County items are available to borrow. Sharing items from Wayne County Libraries will resume in the near future.

Masks are required to enter the building.

Curbside pick-up will continue for those who are not comfortable coming inside the building or cannot wear a mask.

Returned Items will be quarantined for 72 hours upon return, but thanks to a grant from the Greater Pike Community Foundation, there are no fines until Sept. 8.

Passport services are available by appointment only.

All in-person programs are cancelled until further notice. Check the Library’s Facebook and Instagram pages for virtual programming for all ages.

The annual summer reading program is now, “Summer Reading To-Go! Visit the Library’s website, www.pcpl.org, to register.

The book room is open.

Computers are available by appointment.

The current hours in both branches are:
Tuesday & Friday age 60+: 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
Sunday & Monday Closed
Tuesday – Thursday: 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
