MILFORD — Delaware Valley Middle School was visited by local business owner, Colin Smith of John’s of Arthur Ave Restaurant & Pizzeria.
Smith was invited to Doris Sikora’s Family & Consumer Sciences class to demonstrate for the students how to make and prepare pizza dough. Smith worked with each of the 20 students to stretch out the dough, spread marinara sauce, and design individual pizzas.
Students were thrilled to have a professional pizza chef in the classroom working with each of them. Students were very quizzical, asking questions about his business, culinary experience, secret recipes, favorite type of pizza, and asking for any trick of the trade.
