— A line formed in the bitter cold as music lovers on the prowl for some hot music angled to get into the standing-room-only concert at the Waterwheel in Milford last Saturday.

The house was packed, as patrons came out to support the annual fundraiser for Music in the Park, held every year in June.

An eclectic mix of singer-songwriters and musicians from Milford and the surrounding area entertained the crowd, including Michael Zimmerman, drummer Cat Burbage, lead guitarist and songwriter Daniel Ehart, and keyboard player Lee Raden. Charlie Reynolds, erstwhile Courier reporter, sang some of his own songs and plays a mean guitar as well. Every song was made distinctive by the artists' interpretations.

Music in the Park will be held June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., in St. Ann's Park.
