Scouts get new meeting home
Members of Boy Scout Troop 77 and Cub Scout Pack 77 have a new meeting location at Matamoras Firehouse. The troop recently hosted a welcome reception to thank firehouse members for use of the facility. In addition, members from the Hudson Valley Boy Scout Council attended. With gratitude, the scouts also thank their previous meeting host, the United Methodist Church of Matamoras, for over 65 years of partnership in scouting. Cub Scout Pack 77 meets on Monday evenings from 6-7 p.m., and Boy Scout Troop 77 follows from 7-8:30. Both groups welcome new members.
