Students in Ms. Atchison’s fifth-grade class at Delaware Valley Elementary School are hard at work on team building.
Students are learning about synergy, (Habit 7 from the "7 Habits") by sharing a common goal and listening to team members’ ideas. Ms. Atchison is also emphasizing growth mindset by learning from our mistakes.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People:
Be Proactive (You’re in Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win (Everyone Can Win)
Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood(Listen Before You Talk)
Sharpen the Saw (Balance Feels Best)
Synergize (Together Is Better)
