Would you like to lead the Model Horse Club?

MILFORD — Does your love of horses extend to collectable models? Consider becoming a Model Horse Club leader for the Pike County 4-H.
Club members learn stable management and horsemanship skills, similar to lessons learned with live horses. But models require less space, feed, and maintenance. (And dropping a model on your foot doesn’t have the same effect as being stepped on by the live version.)
Anyone interested in helping with this club and other 4-H opportunities, visit the Penn State Extension Pike County 4-H at 514 Broad St., Milford; call 570-296-3400; or email pikeext@psu.edu.
The success of all 4-H Programs depends on the involvement of adult volunteers to serve as club leaders.
