You say you want a revolution

Milford. Early Saturday afternoon, a man calling himself John Paul Jones stationed himself in the middle of Milford Borough. He waved a pole bearing an American flag and a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag while also carrying a sign saying “The seeds of tyranny have been sown.” Our government is failing us, he told the Courier. He vigorously waved his flags while people honked and waved back from their cars. He stayed at his post until nearly dusk. John Paul Jones (1747-92) commanded U.S. Navy ships during the American Revolutionary War, and in February 1776 sailed from the Delaware River aboard Alfred on the Continental Navy’s maiden cruise.
