Man sought in Bushkill slaying arrested in New York

BLOOMING GROVE State police confirm that a man accused of pulling the trigger in an Aug. 24 homicide in Lehman Township has been arrested in New York City. According to a published report, police arrested 19-year-old Marquis Evans of Bushkill in the Bronx on Tuesday afternoon. Evans reportedly confessed to his involvement in the murder of 46-year-old Barry James Rose at Rose’s Saw Creek Estates home. Two other Bushkill residents have already been charged in connection with Rose’s death. They are 18-year-old Cameron Harinarain and 19-year-old Justin Culver, who are being held in the Pike County Jail.
