Matamoras drowning victim recovered

Divers from Sparrowbush, Matamoras, Port Jervis and Westfall are pictured during the Feb. 16 recovery of the body of 19-year-old Martin McDonough of Matamoras. McDonough was drowned on Feb. 15 when the canoe from which he and friend, Louis Puopolo, were fishing capsized. A Deerpark Police spokesman said McDonough was found at 1:30 p.m. in about 15 feet of water.
