Milford — On June 24, the Upper Delaware Media and Marketing Group will host an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a panel of media experts to discuss the current state of media in the courtyard of the Hotel Fauchere. The group’s regularly scheduled luncheon will not be held this month. Reservations for the event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., are $15 per person. The evening will feature guest speakers Vince Benedetto, president of Bold Gold Media Group, representing radio; Bill Cohen, senior account executive of Viamedia, representing television; John Misinco, online producer of the Pocono Record, representing online media; and Bruce Tomlinson, editor of the New Jersey Herald, representing print media. “I have been changing the format of the media and marketing luncheons over the course of the last couple of months,” said organizer Katrina Foster. “Cocktails in the Courtyard is just a preview of a handful of fresh, informative and interconnected events that we will be hosting. This particular event is one that I think everyone can take something away from; regardless of what industry you are in. Not to mention, the guest panel is a stellar combination.” Each guest of the evening will discuss what challenges their industry is currently facing and what they are doing to overcome those challenges. They will also talk briefly about the direction in which their industry is heading. Attendees will be able to ask questions as well.
