Milford boy performs at Carnegie Hall

PRINCETON — Callum McCaslin, of Milford, performed at Carnegie Hall last Saturday with his choir and classmates from The American Boychoir School. McCaslin is a fifth grade student at the school and a member of the concert choir that performed Mahler’s Third Symphony with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra under the musical direction of Pierre Boulez. The evening at Carnegie Hall was the kickoff performance of the 70th anniversary tour season for The American Boychoir. McCaslin is the son of John and Elizabeth McCaslin of Gold Key Estates in Milford. He is a former student of Dingman Delaware Elementary School and former voice and piano student of Lynn Gallo of Shohola. For 70 years, The American Boychoir has been enriching the cultural life of the Nation by bringing its unique and joyful sound to people around the world. Located in historic Princeton, New Jersey, The American Boychoir is under the musical leadership of Litton-Lodal Music Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz.
