Milford okays budget

MILFORD - The Milford Township Supervisors on Dec. 4 approved a $467,625 expenditures budget for 2007. The budget anticipates $401,461 in revenues, with the remainder of the expenditures to be covered by an unexpanded budget balance from 2006. The budget carries a $49,000 increase in spending, but will not prompt any increase in the millage tax rate. Treasurer Viola Canouse said the biggest change in the 2007 plan was the hiring of a full-time highway employee.
