Pets were on parade Saturday in Milford as Reigning Cats and Dogs sponsored a Halloween Parade for their customers and their pets. Lauri Anderson and Ellyne Miller, owners of Reigning Cats and Dogs had their second Halloween Parade which began at their store on Broad Street in Milford. Pet owners had their pets colorfully costumed for the event that kicked off shortly after noon. The parade headed along Broad Street then turned left on one of the side streets and came back down Harford Street. There were about 15 dogs leading their owners along the parade route. Everyone was in good spirits. Reigning Cats and Dogs provided prizes for the best costumed pet owners and had treats for the pets also. Even under the light rain that fell, it was a fun event.
