Monday dinner benefits beautification

    Milford — The Milford Business Council, a committee of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce, will be sponsoring a benefit dinner on Sept 29 in the garden at Laurel Villa Restaurant in Milford, from 6-9 p.m. “We have combined the specialties from over a dozen fine food establishments to bring you a Taste of Milford,” says Kelly from Hare Hollow. “Ranging from gourmet desserts to delectable fish entrees you may mingle & nosh until you drop”. On this glorious evening you can enjoy the fine presentations offered in the beautiful surroundings at Laurel Villa. The funds raised will support the tree lighting, Milford gardens throughout town, and eventually a scholarship for a student at the Delaware Valley School. We have beautiful door prizes grown by Myer Florist and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Good Shepherd’s ecumenical food pantry. The Milford Business Council is requesting guests bring non-perishable food items to be given to the ecumenical food pantry. The food pantry is in dire need of our support the year. We have also stationed drop boxes throughout town to accept your donations. Raffle tickets will be available for a drawing of gift certificates donated by local businesses. Advance tickets being sold at: Born to Be, The Craft Show and Hare Hollow are $30 per person or $50 per couple. rain or shine, under a tent!
