Monroe man sentenced for Pike armed robbery

MILFORD Pike County District Attorney Raymond Tonkin announced Michael Razny, age 28, of Newfoundland was sentenced to seven to 14 years in a state prison for an armed robbery of the Subway Restaurant in Greentown. Razny previously plead guilty to Robbery and Unlicensed Possession of a Firearm. On Apr. 2, 2008, Razny entered the Subway on state Route 507, displayed a shotgun and demanded the money from the cash register. Razny made off with $ 343.05. Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen ordered that Razny’s sentence be run consecutive to a sentenced Razny is currently serving for a robbery conviction in Monroe County. Razny’s combined sentence is 10.5 to 21 years. Pike County District Attorney Raymond Tonkin Prosecuted the case.
