Motorcycle versus SUV was no contest

Motorcyclist, Kevin Carter, seated on the curb, suffered only minor injuries in a June 18, car-motorcycle accident on State Route 2001 in Milford. Carter’s southbound motorcycle was damaged when he struck a northbound Jeep driven by Ashley Gordills of Milford, who had made a left turn onto Seventh Street in front of him. Carter impacted the passenger side rear of the Jeep. Carter, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown to the ground. His motorcycle sustained severe damage as his front tire and wheel were badly bent. Milford firefighters and ambulance volunteers assisted at the 2:45 p.m. accident.
