New hours announced at Dingman library
Dingman Pike County Public Library is expanding hours at its Dingman Township Branch, effective Sept. 4. The branch will now be open until 8 p.m. four days a week, and will add hours on Saturday, making it the only PCPL branch that is open seven days a week. The new hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. “We are expanding our hours at the Dingman Township Branch to better accommodate the needs of area residents,” notes PCPL Director Ellen Schaffner. “Increasing our evening hours and being open on Saturday as well as Sunday will make it easier for students and those who work during the day to do reference work, use the Internet or to browse and select from our growing collection of reading materials, DVDs and audio books.” The Dingman Township Branch of Pike County Public Library is located at 100 Bond Court, just off Log Tavern Road near the intersection with Route 739.
