New measures funded for diabetes control

A grant to help people with diabetes who are having a difficult time managing their disease was recently awarded to Wayne Memorial Hospital (WMH) and its SHIP (State Health Improvement Plan) partners. The $57,000 from The Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern PA will fund a pilot diabetes care management project beginning in January.
