New officers for Tri-State Chamber

Installation of officers and annual members’ meeting PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — The Tri-State Chamber of Commerce held their installation of officers dinner and annual members’ meeting on Friday, Jan 27, 2012 at the Erie Trackside Manor in Port Jervis. The 2012 Officers were installed by Port Jervis Mayor Russell Potter. The 2012 Officers include: President - Paul M. Brislin, 1st Vice President - Judy Rudy, 2nd Vice President - David Claisse, Treasurer - Robert Schultz, CPA, Corporate Secretary - Robie Mackerley, and Parliamentarian - John Russell. Director and event chairwoman, Lisa Randazzo offered a welcome and was followed by remarks from Executive Director, Charlene Trotter. “We are very grateful to our members, directors and sponsors for their commitment to our chamber all year long”, Charlene commented. “Very special thanks to our evening’s event sponsors - Nelson Page and Majestic Cinemas 7 for donating two “Season Passes” to the movies; Suparmanto and Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing for donating a “Sweethearts’ Getaway Package,” just in time for Valentine’s Day, and Gina Fitzpatrick - DJ “G” for providing the evening’s entertainment.” Chamber President Paul Brislin thanked past President, Roy Shepherd for his service and support over the past years, presenting him with a plaque from the board of directors. Brislin provided an overview of the upcoming year and the contributions that the Chamber provides our businesses and communities. He encouraged members to continue to be involved in the positive progress and momentum that the chamber makes in our area by forming relationships with local governments, businesses, and community leaders to provide a better climate for business, tourism and residents. The evening continued with music, dancing and networking.
