Now it's 300 million plus

Expectant parents across the nation Tuesday were all in the running for the birth that would change the population of the United States to 300,000,000. Wayne Memorial Hospital didn’t have the official birth name at 7:46 am on Oct. 17 but was honored to welcome Baby Girl Bell at noon. Each year Wayne Memorial’s New Beginnings helps the population grow by about 500 births. Parents David and Janelle Bell haven’t decided on the perfect name for their 19” long, 7 lb., 9 oz. daughter but they will by the time she joins other residents of Lake Ariel where she will find one-year-old sister Jenna and two- and one-half-year-old brother Tucker at home.
