MILFORD — An error in the legal notice for Monday’s public hearing forced the borough council to postpone action on the US Forest Service request to use the Ann Street Park for this August’s Festival of Wood. Forest Service spokesperson Lori McKean said planning could not be delayed and would go on with the expectation of approval in May. Most concerns about the two-day festival involved noise, but McKean said exhibits like a chain saw sculptor and a portable saw mill could be moved to other sites or cancelled. In other business the council: Heard Water Authority Chair Ron Gregory detail summer construction involving 19 work areas, where some 7,900 feet of water mains will be replaced.
