One-car accident claims Pike man

DINGMAN – State police report that a 29 year-old Milford man was killed in a one-car accident in the late night hours of Christmas Eve. Police say Christopher Daly was driving a 1996 Audi sedan eastbound on U.S. Route 6, about one-half mile west of the Twin Lakes Road, when he lost control, crossed the highway and struck a utility pole and a tree. Police said Daly was using his seat belt at the time of the 10:15 p.m. accident. A state police investigation as to the cause of the accident is continuing.
