Open Farm Day coming up at Country Ark

MILFORD — Come to the farm on Sept. 13 for Country Ark Farm’s first Open Farm Day. Between 1 and 3 p.m., you’ll be able to tour the farm, pet the animals, and see just what we do for the special people that visit the farm each year. World beat/ global and jazz percussionist, Obi Kaye, will perform at Country Ark Farm’s Open Farm Day. Obi, a Milford resident, recently contributed a day at the farm’s Summer Camp, providing campers with drum demonstrations and instruction. The campers each had the opportunity to try out Obi’s many drums. There is a $3 per person/$6 per family donation at the gate. Your donation will support the farm’s activities program.
