PA influenza numbers are on the rise

    ATLANTA, GA. — The Centers for Disease Control reported Wednesday that confirmed and probable cases of H1N1 flu in Pennsylvania rose from 123 to 226, between the Monday and Wednesday of this week. On Wednesday 11,054 cases were reported in the US and Puerto Rico, up from the 10,053 reported Monday. There have been 17 deaths attributed to the flu nationwide: four deaths each in Arizona and New York, three each in Texas and Illinois, and one each in Missouri, Utah and Washington state. No flu related deaths have been reported in Pennsylvania.
