The following persons pleaded guilty to charges filed at an earlier date and were sentenced in court on Dec. 8. Joseph Myers, 42, of Hawley, who was charged driving under the influence in Lackawaxen in May, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, while his driving license was suspended for one year. Michael J. Scerbo, 32, of Milford, who was charged with seven counts of passing bad checks, two counts of theft by deception, and forgery in Westfall Township, Matamoras and Milford boroughs between December of 2004 and April of 2005, was sentenced to one to two years in a state prison, fined $2,500 and ordered to pay restituion to his victims. Sukhraj Singh, 35, Dingmans Ferry, who was charged with driving while under the influence in June in Delaware Township, was sentenced to serve one to three years in the Pike County Jail, lose his drivers license for 18 months and pay a $2,500 fine. Robert Counts, 33, of Eldred, NY, who was charged with driving under the influence in April in Lackawaxen was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, loss of his driving license for a year, and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine. Jonathan Stollmeyer, 18, of Dingmans Ferry, who was charged in November of 2004 with driving in Dingman under the influence and without a current inspection certificate, was sentenced serve 10 days to six months in the Pike County Jail, loss of his driving license for a year, and ordered to pay a $500 fine. Nelson Vaquez, 33, of Milford, who was charged in April with simple assault in Dingman Township, was sentenced to serve five to 24 months in the Pike County Jail, and pay a $500 fine. Michael Suarez, 19, of Bushkill, who was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property in Lehman Township between June and October of last year, was sentenced to serve 18 months to five years in the Pike County Jail and pay a $1,000 fine. Shane Posey, 32, of Dingmans Ferry, who was charged with two counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors in Delaware Township between January and February of last year, was found guilty at trial and sentenced to serve two to five years in prison, required to register as a sexual offender, and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine. Darren Eskins, 27, of Milford, who was charged with burglary, attempted burglary and possession of a firearm between January and April of last year in Dingman Township, was sentenced to serve four to eight years in state prison and pay a $500 fine. Kyle Smith, 19, of Dingmans Ferry, who was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, in September of last year in Delaware Township, was sentenced to serve nine to 23 months in the Pike County Jail, one year of probation and ordered to pay a $600 fine.
