Pike County Health Fair coming soon

DINGMANS FERRY n Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has been serving our county for over 60 years and their commitment to county concerns and issues has not diminished. Today, Sandy McCaw, committee chair of their Social Ministry, is reviewing the plans for the second annual Pike County Health Fair. “Our health fair will be held on June 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. right here at Holy Trinity. This year, we are proud to partner with the United Way of Pike County” stated Ms. McCaw. “We look forward to working with over twenty-five exhibitors who will provide information and activities at the health fair. This is a great time of the year to support our community, provide information about health, safety, and recreation and to do “what matters” stated Peter Ioppolo, president of United Way of Pike County. The Red Cross Blood Mobile will be on site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. doing blood pressure checks, glucose level checks, scoliosis screenings and more. A bicycle safety course and equipment check will be open for all children and adults. The fair will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Silver Lake Road and Delaware Crest in Dingmans Ferry.
