Pike friends in need of homes

SHOHOLA Check out these pets now awaiting homes at the Pike County Humane Society. Sally Sue: Sally Sue is a four-year-old who only has one eye, but she doesn’t know she has a handicap. From her one soft brown eye you can see the gentle soul shining through. It is especially hard for coonhounds to get adopted, but we hope that a special person out there will see her lovely face and decide to give her the family that she deserves. Sally Sue is really a very sweet girl but also very strong and would benefit from some positive training which she seems receptive to when approached with treats. Buddy: A friendly, happy and gentle beagle/shepherd mix guy, best suited to an adult family or one with older kids, Buddy needs a well fenced yard to keep him from running off. At 10, he’s pretty laid back and is content to hang out and romp around the yard. Tiger: A six-year-old small gray and white tabby, Tiger loves to smooch with visitors, cuddling and curling up for attention, content to enjoy being loved. If you’re looking for a lover, Tiger will meet your expectations. To see these and the other adoptable dogs and cats, bunnies and guinea pigs, visit the shelter on Lee Road in Shohola, PA.
