Pike friends looking for homes

Shohola — The following pets are available for adoption from the Pike County Human Society: Low Rider: Surrendered when his family moved and couldn’t take him along, 2-year-old Low Rider became a homeless soul seeking a new family to love. Even as a chubby 105 pound English Lab mix, he’s gentle and playful and absolutely loves everyone he meets — adults, kids and other dogs alike. Give this big bubba a hug and let him follow you home for good-natured good times together and a lot of genuine love. Jordan: Good with older kids, housebroken, friendly toward other dogs and a good natured buddy overall, Jordan, a 4-year-old Lab mix, is ready to bring happy playtimes and companionship to a family looking for a lovable pooch. Come and see Jordan so he can show you what a good boy he is. Then let him steal your heart. He has a lot of love to give. Mocha: This handsome medium-sized brindle-colored 18-month-old hound mix is a loving bundle of energy, eager to please and responsive to patient commands. While he’s friendly with shelter visitors and other shelter dogs, his enthusiastic greetings suggest he’d do best in a household without very small kids. Give him some patient training, TLC and attention, and you’ll have an affectionate, devoted companion and happy playmate for years to come.
