Pike resident to attend SUNY Oswego

MATAMORAS Albert T. Helms of Avenue F in Matamoras has reserved a place as a transfer student at SUNY Oswego. Fall classes will begin Aug. 31. Helms last studied at Sullivan County Community College. Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. A 148-year-old comprehensive college in the State University of New York system, Oswego enrolls more than 8,200 students in its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Business; School of Communication, Media and the Arts; and School of Education.
