Programs for children

at the Delaware Township Library Dingmans Ferry — On Saturday, Nov. 14, Delaware Township Library hosted a Fairy Tale Afternoon, presented by Johanna LjungQvist-Brison of Delaware Dancers. The children who participated, listened to a fairy tale, interpreted the story with costumes and dance, took a nature walk and gathered natural materials for a craft project (pictured). The afternoon culminated with a shared snack and outdoor playtime at the playground at Akenac Park. The library will be hosting Stories and Snacks with Santa’s Elves on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 1-3 p.m. The activities will include a story, craft activities, and snacks. Boys and girls, and their parents, are invited to participate by calling the library at 570-828-2781 to RSVP. The Delaware Township Library is located Akenac Park, 106 Connors Way and state Route 739 in Dingmans Ferry.
