Publisher selects student's poem

WESTFALL - Delaware Valley High School student, Daniella Haigler’s poem, “A Requiem for a Lost Soul” will be published. Thousands of entries were submitted to Creative Communication, the publisher of the newsletter, Poetic Power, and Daniella’s poem was chosen by a jury of readers. Her poem has moved on to another level, and she has the possibility of being selected as a “Top Ten Poet.” Daniella’s writing ability has been recognized by her English teachers at Delaware Valley who recommended her for writing workshops. Daniella, a sophomore, is the daughter of Cathy McGuire of Milford. Besides writing poetry, Daniella is a member of the Science Olympiad and plays tennis and competes in track and field at Delaware Valley.
