MILFORD — The two sides of a recent recycling disagreement finally got together Monday night, but no agreements or decisions resulted. Pike Commissioner Harry Forbes and Recycling Manager Christine Obser appeared before the Milford Township Supervisors bringing a thick stack of computer print-outs detailing the recycling program’s financial status. Supervisors Chair Don Quick said he was pleased that county had responded to the township’s information request, but added that no action was discussed or taken to revoke the Supervisors’ November deadline for the county to remove the station at the township building. “It’s entirely possible that we could rescind it, but as of now our directive to remove it stands,” he said. Quick reiterated that the township’s concerns went beyond the overflowing bins on the July 4 weekend. “It’s been ongoing for several years. The original agreement required the county to keep the area clean,” he said. Quick said that the county’s two-month response time, which prompted supervisors’ November eviction notice, did not come up. “They didn’t mention it and neither did we,” Quick said.
