Restaurants join in hospital fundraiser
Augusta - Ten new restaurants join the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation for “An Evening of Wine and Roses” on Thursday, March 16, from 7 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. This wine and gourmet cuisine tasting will be set in the spectacular garden landscapes of “Springfest” at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta, New Jersey. This event will benefit the Charles L. Tice Heart Center for Diagnostic Services at Newton Memorial Hospital. The Champagne Grand Event sponsors of the evening are RoNetco Supermarkets, Inc., which owns and operates seven Shop Rite supermarkets in the area and Selective Insurance Group. It is through the support and many resources of RoNetco Supermarkets, Inc. and Mark Avondoglio of Perona Farms that many of the evening’s efforts be credited. Conversational tables and seating will be included to further enjoy the sampling of the 33 world-class restaurants and tastings of liquors, cordials and wines from area distributors and vineyards. Area restaurants have volunteered their time and talents to display their unique gourmet presentations for guests to sample. Participating restaurants are: Andre’s Restaurant & Wine Boutique, Barone’s Restaurant, Black Forest Inn, Bobolink Dairy, Bula “World Cuisine”, Café Pierrot, Caffe Navona, Carafello’s Restaurant, Casa Bellisima, Cheez-Kake Bake Shop, The Chocolate Goat Gift Shoppe, Cliff Park Inn, Clohessey’s Bakery, Deli & Confections, Ellias Creative American Cuisine, Hampton House, Krave Cafe & Caterers, Lake Mohawk Country Club, Lake Mohawk Golf Club, Lake Mohawk Gourmet Foods, Laurel Villa Country Inn, Mohawk House, Mountain Brook Inn, Jolly Caffe’ / Nastasi Imports, Newton Country Club, Newton Memorial Hospital Food Services, Perona Farms, Pine Hill Farms, Plaza Bistro, Ristorante Il Porto, The Tea Hive, The Walpack Inn, Wakefern Food Corporation and Zoe’s by the Lake. Valet parking will be available and guests may purchase raffle tickets for $20 to win a week in “Napa Valley”, California, which includes round trip airfare and accommodations for two, specific week applies.
