MILFORD - With construction pending, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will hold a public meeting to update area residents, business owners and commuters on the progress of the Milford-Montague Toll Bridge Rehabilitation Project. “They’re expecting it to cause some traffic problems in Milford,” township supervisor and borough Police Chief Gary Williams said Monday. At the open meeting the work will be presented, including the conceptual project design elements and the anticipated construction schedule. The work includes rehabilitation and re-painting of the bridge; replacement of the existing bridge deck; and the replacement of the approach roadway pavements and toll plaza. The open house meeting will be held on Thursday, May 18 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Milford Fire Department, 107 West Catherine Street in Milford.
