ROCKET LAUNCHING AT SES

| 29 Sep 2011 | 04:39

Despite rain and snow showers, Allen Brocius’s third grade students at Shohola Elementary School were able to launch their rockets late last month. The project explores the basics of rocketry through hands-on experiments with the help of the 4H of Pike County. Students were encouraged to apply what they learned through the design, construction, and handling of rockets. This has been an annual event for all third graders at Shohola.
