Safe drinking water workshop, free tests

    SHOHOLA — Penn State Cooperative Extension in Pike County and Twin/Walker Creeks Watershed Conservancy will be conducting a Safe Drinking Water Program on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Shohola Township Building on Twin Lakes Road in Shohola. There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is required. The program is being sponsored financially by Davis Chant Realtors. In addition, Penn State Cooperative Extension is offering water testing for a discounted fee through Prosser Labs on Nov. 12 and 19. In order to participate in the water testing, you must attend the Safe Drinking Water Program to receive your test bottles. Test bottles need to be returned by 12 noon on Nov. 12 or 19.
