Schneider wins math/science award

Delaware Valley High School senior, Jasper Schneider, has been awarded the Rensselaer Medal. This award is presented to promising high school juniors who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science. Jasper’s selection qualifies him for a $60,000 scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. The son of Celina and Tom Schneider of Dingmans Ferry, Jasper plans to major in electrical engineering and physics in the fall. Jasper, who completed the Delaware Valley High School Integrated Math and Science Honors Program, is pictured with two of his Honors Science teachers, Stephen Rhule and Mark Nebzydoski.
