Shohola Elementary patriotism

Principal Peg Schaffer looked on as a student worked on this “hand made” flag designed on a wall of the Shohola Elementary School. The flag was created by Shohola students to symbolize and remember all those who lost their lives in the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Students said the day will never be forgotten in American History or at their school. Each member of the student body participated in painting the flag and the designs around it. They said that it was important for everyone to be a part of this project to show appreciation for those who lost their lives or helped to save lives on that day. (Contributed photos)
