Eastern Pike Regional Police Chief Chad Stewart is pictured before Mrs. Barnes’ first graders at Delaware Valley Elementary School. On April 23, Stewart conducted a program entitled, “The Back Is Where It’s At,” which is tailored toward elementary children to teach them the proper way to buckle a seat belt. It also reinforces that the back seat of a car is the safest place for them. Stewart did six presentations to the first and second grade classes of Mrs. Thiele, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Lambert, Mrs. Barnes, Mrs. Hiller, Mrs. Padgett and Mrs. Connolly. There were about 180 students in attendance.
