Six arrested for vandalism

BLOOMING GROVE - State police say a 25 year-old man and an 18 year-old woman from Verona, N.J. were arrested along with four Milford area teenagers in connection with a late November series of vandalism incidents. Police did not release the names of any of those arrested. The incidents included damaged car and home windows, in addition to the destruction of holiday lawn displays. Targets included properties in Gold Key, Sunrise Lakes, Birchwood, Pocono Mountain Water Forest, Pocono Mountain Lakes, Marcel Lakes and Pocono Ranchlands developments. The six were apprehended and admitted their involvement on the early morning of Nov. 26 in Pocono Ranchlands after they were spotted by a resident and subsequently stopped by community security. All face charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. Criminal mischief charges could become a felony given the extensive damage involved.
